White Oaks Eiger

BERNER-GARDE # 214799

White Oaks Eiger is aptly named after “the Eiger,” the 8th tallest Alpine mountain peak in the Swiss Canton of Bern, with its summit rising over 13,000 feet above sea level, overlooking the Swiss village of Grindelwald. White Oaks Eiger was born October 17, 2021. Like the mountain, White Oaks Eiger looks imposing and intimidating. But unlike the famous peak, White Oaks Eiger is a pushover; he’s a mushy sweetheart who just wants his belly rubbed! White Oaks Eiger is known for his exuberant greetings; think: OMG! I haven’t seen you in forever and I can’t believe it’s really you! His weight hit triple digits (100 lbs.) while still a puppy at 18 months. He’s an ecstatic wrecking ball of fur and love who launches himself into the air with excitement sometimes 3 to 4 feet off the ground. White Oaks Eiger is our gentle giant who loves the spotlight, bred from Champions, and a friend to all he meets. He and White Oaks Adelaide have been together since he was 10 weeks old and she was 8 weeks old. They are inseparable.

White Oaks Adelaide

BERNER-GARDE # 214802

White Oaks Adelaide was named after Adelheid Chalet, a retreat house in the village of Grindelwald, Switzerland at the base of the Eiger, one of the Alps’ most imposing peaks. Grindelwald was famously home to Richard Wagner, the composer of the Ring Cycle of which The Ride of the Valkyrie is an oft-heard theme. Adelaide was born October 27, 2021. Like the chalet at the foot of the Swiss giant, White Oaks Adelaide is large, weighing 75 pounds, but is often overshadowed by her more daunting and exuberant partner, White Oaks Eiger. Like the Swiss chalet, however, she is stalwart, protective, smart, and consistent, always welcoming with a warm heart. White Oaks Adelaide’s calm steadfast style is the perfect foil to White Oaks Eiger’s mercurial rowdy character. White Oaks Adelaide is our quiet, unassuming princess, who has shown poise, dedication, maturity and a wondrous nurturing instinct in the whelping and raising of her first litter. She and White Oaks Eiger have been together since she was 8 weeks old and he was 10 weeks old. They are inseparable.
